Discover the Roanoke Valley ... through the eyes of its children

Forty-eight young people in kindergarten through the eighth grade took The Roanoke Times up on an offer to share their photographic impressions of the Roanoke Valley. The paper provided the students with disposable point-and-shoot cameras, and they did the rest. Their photos and captions are showcased here in the 2003 Discover Roanoke Valley section.
